Reveling in Fresh Floral Motifs for Spring
By Dr. Yakini
Each morning I step outside my downtown Brooklyn apartment and trek slowly to the office, my brow furrowed in slight confusion. Despite the "official" arrival of spring, I find that I'm still pushing aside the delicious, airy spring clothes I eagerly purchased months ago, and reaching for the wool sweaters and slacks I've been rotating all winter season.
Though weather in the city is still precarious, I can't help but grow excited as I watch the travel channel and fantasize about languishing on the beach, peruse Time Out New York, which highlights all the fabulous, warm weather events in the city, and page through food magazines featuring brightly colored berries and melon from the farmers' markets.
In keeping with my mood of optimism and good cheer, I thought I would kick-off the "official" arrival of spring by sharing some exceptionally beautiful floral inspiration that I discovered at Rosenow Floral Design. Although Erin Rosenow just recently set up shop in San Francisco, it appears that wedding blogs and home decorating ezines alike are buzzing about her gorgeous arrangements! Her work is breath-taking and, if you are anything like me, just fawning over these beautiful photos will be enough to add some serious spring to your step!
Each of Erin's floral arrangements is a unique and individual declaration of beauty and femininity. Being totally smitten with pink myself, this collection (above images) is especially near and dear to my heart.
